Estate Sale in El Cerrito - Nov 19 & 20

We are pleased to announce a very interesting sale this weekend in El Cerrito. It's a mix of Chinese decoratives, furnishings, art, and artist materials, and Scandinavian furniture from the 60's and 70's. Great jewelry will be offered, including Chinese pieces, hardstone carvings,  and high karat gold pieces. Also rugs, books (in English and in Chinese), kitchen, toys, and all household items.

The sale address is:

6921 Snowdon Ave.
El Cerrito

November 19 & 20
Sale hours are 10-5 both Saturday & Sunday.

This is a CASH ONLY sale.

Staff will be on premises during the day for setup, and in the evening for security. Monitored alarm system, attentive neighbors, locked cases for valuables during the sale, and alert veteran staff members. Valuables are removed in the evening. Family members are living in the home during the sale, so please respect their privacy if you arrive early on Saturday morning.

There is ample parking for the sale in this residential neighborhood. However, the house is on a short, narrow cul-de-sac, on Snowden, at Ganges. Please park outside the cul-de-sac, so we can keep it open for pickups of furniture, and for the neighbors' convenience.

We will have separate cashier stations for the lower floor (garage and family room), and the upper main floor. Make sure you get to see everything at this spectacular sale. There are number of exterior steps up to the main floor.

Rain may dampen our spirits but not our  will to shop.  Our El Cerrito sale this weekend  is very tasty, especially for  those inclined to antique, vintage and collectible Asian wares.

Highlights include a very interesting carving in the form of a eggplant of generous size, a wooden carved bowl with floral decoration, a pair of silver Chinese export covered cups, a collection of jadeite carvings mounted on a hanging cord and a large collection of hard stone, jadeite and nephrite carvings.  As well, there are nice examples of ceramics, glass and other interesting curios and novelties, along with two contemporary Chinese  etageres. Literally hundreds of items.

For the Modernist there are a number of mid century Sandiavian furniture pieces and some decorative wares. Outstanding is a Dyrlund pop-up leaf pedestal table in pristine condition.

Jewelry is well represented with a number of jade, coral and hardstone examples together with a great array of high fashion gold examples.

Also available is cello by Eric Hausner  and a pair of  Dynaco Danish speakers.

Full kitchen, lower floor and garage.
