We are pleased to
announce an upcoming estate sale in a beautiful home in a historic Berkeley
neighborhood.

Sale highlights
include:
Assortment of
English George III furniture including a very nice walnut grandfather clock,
assorted bureaus, secretary desk, c. 1800 Neoclassic dining table (opens to
seat 16).
Collection of several
Oriental room size and area rugs in very good
condition.
Fine Art, including
a number of Modernist influenced prints by California artist Ynez Johnston
together with other mid-century offerings and a grouping of 18th and 19th
century English and Continental
landscape and portrait paintings. As well, a selection of modern bronze
sculpture pieces are being offered.
Vast collection of
older and collectible books.
Generous quantity of
quality table wares including ceramics, glassware and metal wares, chinaware
services, good cut glass, Waterford, Lalique etc. Also, two very large Lladro
figurines are available.
Silver includes a
nice 20th century sterling tea service, 800
content Continental examples, some American coin silver, large number of
smaller sterling decorative wares and personal items, together with flatware
services and individual pieces.
A large and special
assortment of fine linens, large table covers, runners and bedding items.
Great collection of
heirloom jewelry.
Asian wares include,
a standing cabinet and partners desk,
scrolls, screens, ceramics, embroideries and a nice grouping of block
prints.
Large collection of
ladies' designer clothing, handbags, and shoes.
Nice assortment of
ceramic trinket boxes, small vintage wares, novelty items, decorative and
utilitarian wares, full kitchen with ceramics, cookware, full pantry.
Electronics include
televisions, monitors and some computer equipment.
Assorted Victorian
furnishings and utilitarian pieces, outdoor teak table and benches.
Staff will be on site during the day for setup, and in the evening for security. Monitored alarm system, locked cases for valuables during the sale, and alert veteran staff members. Valuables are removed in the evening.
The neighborhood is somewhat hilly. Parking is good. Access to the home is up a sloping driveway, and a few steps to the front door. It is a two story home.
