Estate Sale in Oakland

We've got a great sale coming up this weekend. The packed household includes fine art, bronzes, furnishings, decorative wares, silver, pre-Columbian ceramics, ladies clothes in small sizes, fine, silver, and costume jewelry, rugs, clocks, and more.

Fine Art, including a folded paper construction by Fletcher Benton, an oil on canvas by Von Neumann, and an ink drawing by Judith Clancy, together with a large assortment of oil paintings, works on paper and Japanese block prints. Of special note is a pair of a French late 19th c., advertising posters and American rock posters. 

Bronzes and other sculpture including a very nice art deco figural work, a pair of  contemporary Brutalist sculptures, figure on Napoleon, and others. 

Furnishings include 18th 19th and 20th century American, English, and Continental examples including a good George III highboy and two wall mirrors, massive dome topped Continental Trunk, Rattan suite, Modernist table and chairs , Modernist lounge chair and ottoman and mixed Victorian examples. 

Decorative wares include a three piece French Clock Set of size, a Boulle mantle clock, an assortment of Tiffany clear glass "bamboo" pattern tableware, Lalique and other glassware, Berlin Arcadia pattern chinaware service, a collection of wooden religious statuary and bronze altar pieces, assorted linens.

Silver includes two Modernist flatware services: Towle "Contour" Pattern and International "Continental" pattern.

Nice assortment of Colima and Jalisco Pre-Columbian ceramics  Provenance: Ron Messick of Santa Fe.

Ladies clothes in small sizes, including numerous examples of Nanette Lepore's clothing line.

Exciting collection of Fine, silver and costume jewelry together with watches.

Room and Area Sized Oriental rugs.

Staff will be on site during the day for setup, and overnight for security. Monitored alarm system, locked cases for valuables during the sale, and alert veteran staff members. Valuables are removed in the evening. The residents are staying overnight in their home during the sale. Please be respectful of their privacy if you arrive early on Friday. 

The home is one story, with about 10 steps up to the entry.
