Our last warehouse sale of 2015 is coming up, just in time for the holidays. This sale will include lots of new cased goods, Chinese and Japanese wares, furniture, & art, silver, fine jewelry, as well as silver and costume jewelry, decoratives, clocks, rugs, lighting, books, collectibles galore, including over 1000 ceramic chickens, and very nice quality holiday decor.

The
sale contents are a combination of numerous recent Estate acquisitions
from sources where on-site sales were not feasible. Nearly all of the
items being offered are fresh and have never been
shown before. Many will be attractively
priced with intent to appeal to dealers and private parties alike. We will invite offers and actively bargain as
the sale proceeds into Sunday and Monday.
The facility is spacious, parking is convenient on the weekend. The
building is fully accessible. Good
security is in place with monitored alarm, closed circuit surveillance and
alert staff. In the pursuit of safety
for all, we will keep congestion to a minimum. Please come and enjoy
yourselves.
The Asian category has a
number of very good examples. High points include a 19th century
Mongolian Nephrite mounted ewer, a bat and cloud decorated Chinese display
cabinet, three altar tables, one of impressive size, a pair of framed
embroidered sections of robes, a great selection of Chinese paintings and
Japanese scrolls, a very good gilded Japanese wooden carving of a priest, a
selection of tansu and some blue and white Chinese wares of size, along with
assorted ceramics, wooden carvings and other curiosities.
Offerings in Jewelry include
examples of fine, silver and costume jewelry pieces representing around 1,500
items including a nice selection of coral jewelry, a large assortment of ladies
rings and bracelets, a number of diamond pieces as well as a vast selection of
Native American, Danish, Mexican, American, English and Continental silver examples,
and several flats of vintage and contemporary Costume wares. Of Special
interest are two lots by famed Native American jeweler Charles Loloma, a silver
and stone small ladies bangle and a pair of stone set earrings in gold.
American, Asian and
Continental furnishings and decorative items abound, examples include a number
of American Victorian and early 20th century works, Vintage and
contemporary Asian pieces, a handsome Royal Vienna Beehive clock of good size
with vase garniture, very nice German early19th century game table, a French
Victorian Parlor set, a very good 17th century Spanish or Basque
wardrobe cabinet with open carved surface mounted hinges and original lock, a
very large Anglo-Indian tilt top table with stylized elephant carved base, and hundreds of other good quality china wares,
silver metal wares, and items by Tiffany and Co.
As well, there is an
interesting collection of contemporary glass wares produced and collected by
Reflections studio, a renowned stained glass artisan shop. Included is a spectacular contemporary scenic
window and some othervintage examples.
Last but not least is a
generous collection of collectibles and table goods, including a collection of
ceramic figurines depicting chickens and roosters numbering approximately 1,200
pieces.
